Course Overview

Depression is a very common mental illness and there are likely to be people within all organisations that have depression.
This course has therefore been designed to increase the learners’ understanding of depression and how they can appropriately support any colleagues that have been diagnosed, are recovering from or are in the early stages of depression. It also looks at what to say to a person who might be suicidal and how to act if they are.
